• Below are just a few things we do to keep our farm and
   nature in balance and harmony.

• Environmental Stewardship scheme. This encourages
  farmers to farm for the good of wildlife, not just for food
  production or tourism.

• 8 metre bare strips left around the fields without any
  crops to encourage wildlife. Winter seed mixes planted
  to feed the hungry winter birds.

• Owls – the farm is a great hunting ground for owls. We
  have put up some nesting boxes in these areas to
  encourage them to breed.

• We have an on going programme to restore our thirteen
  farm ponds. They provide rich wildlife habitat and
  drinking water for the resident deer.

• Regional Runners up in Natural England - Farmers of
  the Future Award
