Group Visits

Our farm is great for events and group visits. Every event has its very own Hollow Trees host and takes place in the dedicated space in the Corn Barn and we have ample parking too. We will work closely with you before and during your visit to ensure your group gets the best day out possible. The visits and parties season runs from mid March until the end of September and bookings are now open. Contact us for more information.

Birthday Parties

Enjoy all the fun of the farm on your next birthday! Hollow Trees is the perfect place to hold your event – during the two and a half hours we organise games in our special party field, children get to enjoy a trailer ride around the farm, we provide the food, balloons and party bags – and our baker can make a cake especially for you. (Possibly the best part is that it’s hassle free for grown-ups!).

Educational Visits

We run events for schools and children’s groups every Monday-Friday between March and the end of September each year. Children love exploring the farm, especially on our tractor and trailer ride! We’re extremely flexible and can cover whichever parts of the curriculum you wish, tailoring the visit to suit your group.  Our bookings diary is now open so contact us today to find out more and discuss how we can best meet your needs.

Birthday Parties

Here’s just some of the fabulous comments from happy party families this year…

“Lizzie and her team at Hollow Trees hosted the most fabulous party for our 5 year old daughter this morning. We were completely blown away from start to finish, from the fantastic trailer ride to the party field, the super cute picnic boxes and teas, coffees and piggy biscuits for us grown ups… the attention to detail was spot on! We literally turned up with a cake and the rest was taken care of. The children all had a super time. We can’t recommend Hollow Trees enough.”

“Bethan and Gwen had a fantastic time at Hollow Trees yesterday. The best kids party they have had and the easiest for us as parents. Lizzie was brilliant and I would thoroughly recommend this as a party venue. All the parents have been texting us saying how fab yesterday was and how much their kids enjoyed it.”

School Visits

“I visited with 3 classes of children today. It was the most organised visit I have taken children on, so well planned and resourced. Thank you for giving both the teachers and the children a great day!” (Reception Class Teacher)

“Hollow Trees Farm was a fun experience where we got to look at the importance of a farm. They showed us how a lot of science and maths are involved in farming such as, how they have to make sure that each of the animals such as a pig has to have the right proportion of food. Also, we discovered how the Alpaca can help with the poultry side of farming by scaring foxes away with their faces even though Alpacas tend to be quite timid! They showed us how they grow their plants, that some start in the greenhouses during the winter months regulated by a special team of agriculturists to intend the best quality from the plant. We also learned the importance of wheat and how a little can be a lot, to think that 1m2 of wheat involves 300 seeds that can make 1 large whole loaf of bread. In addition, there was some engineering involved because we looked at how the machinery on a farm has revolutionized farming, the tractor was a key component. Finally the last part of the tour was looking at their shop where all the products come from the farm, we looked at how the food has to be kept at a specific temperature which is below 5 degrees Celcius and above 60 degrees Celcius. I never knew how sophisticated a farm could be. The tour was a great way to open the world of farming to me and opened my inner farmer, it would be a great place for work experience. 5 stars, well done Hollow Trees Farm!” (Year 7 Student)
