Asparagus season – top tip

A deliciously simple Asparagus tip kindly shared on our Facebook page by Bob South.

Drop in to water already on a rolling boil.
Remove after just 2 minutes and plunge into ice water.
Serve with a soft poached egg and good hollandaise sauce.

British asparagus season officially kicks off on Friday, 23rd April until June. You’ll find plenty in our Farm Shop, grown locally in Essex.
