Hollow Trees Farm Shop has an opening in their Butchery for an apprentice.
The Farm prides itself on homegrown produce and rears livestock to produce beef, pork, lamb and goat for the butchery. Alongside traditional cuts are a range of “cook in the tin” convenience meals which have been developed by the innovative and forward-thinking butchery team.
The successful applicant will earn while they learn. Developing a valued skill, growing in confidence and learning about delivering excellent customer service are all part of this role. You need to be keen, motivated and show initiative. You will be rewarded by working with experienced and knowledgeable butchers who will be there to support you alongside your assessor.
This will be a level 2 apprenticeship and carried out in-house (although some outside skills lessons are available). The hours will be full time and pay will be at the minimum/living wage set by the Government.
