We love to celebrate our people. So, each month we’ll be catching up with a member of Team Hollow Trees to do just that – starting with Alex from the butchery. Get to know him a little better with our light hearted, quick-6 Q&A below:
A little about you:
I first joined the farm 3 years ago as a Saturday boy and this September I’ll start my butchery apprenticeship – I really can’t wait. I have 4 siblings (2 older and 2 younger) and my older brother Ed works here too, and my sister Katrina did also. I wonder if the younger two will follow suit, making it a full house! I’m currently studying Agriculture at Otley.
Best thing about your job?
Learning the butchery craft and serving customers in the farm shop.
What’s always in your fridge?
Brie and Edam cheese. Always.
All time favourite food?
Rib-eye steak & chips. It’s a classic, isn’t it?
