Name: Linda Morphew
Job role: Freezer Dept Lead & Deli Assistant
Length of service: I’m proud to say I’ve worked here for 27 years!
If you could describe Hollow Trees Farm in three words, what would they be? Friendly, Educational and Quality
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day for me consists of stocking up, ordering and dealing with deliveries for the freezers. I also work in the deli, slicing our own hams, beef and pork, packing our farm made products, cutting cheese and juicing oranges for the deli and the café. I enjoy helping customers find the perfect British cheese for their boards from our selection.
Favourite season on the farm and why?
Spring would have to be my favourite season. There are the baby lambs and kids on the farm trail, daffodils and spring bulbs in the shop and the new Raedwald cheese in the deli!
If you could order anything from the Farm Cafe, what would be your perfect meal or go-to treat?
A cheese scone is my go to treat
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
To be able to teleport to some great dog walking areas, just for a change of scenery!
What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy walking my dog, we walk for miles. I’m practicing flower arranging. I’m teaching myself how to knit socks. I crochet and enjoy doing the ancient crafts of nalbinding and tablet weaving.
