As Department Lead for Provisions and Pet Food, Helen plays a vital role in keeping our farm shop and café well-stocked, beautifully displayed, and running smoothly. From managing orders and deliveries to supporting the team with training and development, Helen brings energy and creativity to everything she does.

Length of service: I’ve been at Hollow Trees for 6 years.
If you could describe Hollow Trees Farm in three words, what would they be?
Family-oriented, educational, quality.
What does a typical day look like for you?
My day usually starts with ordering stock for the farm shop and café, liaising with different teams, and getting through emails and admin. I also love coming up with display ideas and bringing them to life with the team. I’m responsible for organising the shop and warehouse – that includes deliveries, replenishment, and stock rotation. I help organise provisions for staff and support with staff training and development too. I manage the team to keep everything flowing – it’s a varied role, and that’s what I enjoy most about it!
Favourite season on the farm and why?
Spring/Summer – when the bulbs are out and everyone is outside and happier. There’s just something special about that time of year.
If you could order anything from the Farm Café, what would be your perfect meal or go-to treat?
Definitely a roast dinner – it’s my favourite.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
To split myself in two – I’d love a body double!
What are your hobbies and interests?
I do yoga and work out every morning. I also enjoy gardening and love walking in places like Dedham, Southwold, and Bawdsey.
