This month, our Meet the Team spotlight is on Abi Craske, who joined the Hollow Trees family 8 months ago and is already a familiar face to many of our visitors!
As Senior Lead for Trail and Events, Abi is at the heart of the fun. Whether she’s welcoming school groups, celebrating birthdays, or bringing seasonal holiday activities to life. With boundless energy and a love of people, Abi helps create unforgettable experiences across the farm.
Let’s get to know Abi a little better, from her favourite springtime sight to her dream Farm Café order!
Name: Abi Craske
Job Role: Senior Lead – Trail and Events
Length of Service: I’ve been at Hollow Trees for 8 months.
If you could describe Hollow Trees Farm in three words, what would they be?
Fun, Family, Farm
What does a typical day look like for you?
No two days are ever the same! I always start with trail checks to make sure everything is ready for our visitors, and then I might be hosting a school trip or running a birthday party. During the holidays, you’ll often find me out and about on the barrel train or helping guests on the Cresta Run sledges.
Favourite season on the farm and why?
Spring is my favourite. It’s when we welcome lots of newborns. The lambs and goat kids are always such a joy to visit after a busy day.
If you could order anything from the Farm Café, what would be your perfect meal or go-to treat?
A chicken, pesto, and mozzarella toastie – it’s my go-to!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I’d love the ability to speak every language, I’m a chatterbox and it would mean I could connect with even more people.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I’m a huge football fan, so you’ll either find me watching Ipswich Town or playing football myself. I’m also really active with Hadleigh Young Farmers Club – it’s a big part of my life outside the farm.
