Name: Jamie Phillips
Job Role: Assistant Butchery Lead
Length of Service: 7 years
If you could describe Hollow Trees Farm in three words, what would they be?
Friendly, quality, fantastic
What does a typical day look like for you?
No two days are the same in this trade, but I would usually be breaking down beef, pork and lamb and preparing joints and our range of quality products to sell throughout the week.
Favourite season on the farm and why?
I would say Autumn is my favourite season for the change of colour and the milder temperatures.
If you could order anything from the Farm Café, what would be your perfect meal or go-to treat?
It would probably have to be the Suffolk Farmers Big Breakfast. I enjoy visiting the Farm Café knowing that all the meat used is traceable back to the farm!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would choose super strength as it would certainly help when carrying those body’s of beef for preparing.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I like to spend my days away from Hollow Trees doing fun activities with my children, going fishing or watching the football.
