We are heading behind the scenes this January as we introduce Lauren Howells.
Lauren has been with us for 7 years – starting in our Farm Shop and making her way into our Farm Made Kitchen.

Length of Service: 7 years – 4 years in the Farm Shop and 3 years as a Chef
If you could describe Hollow Trees Farm in three words, what would they be?
Busy, exciting and family.
What does a typical day look like for you?
In a typical day I produce a range of homemade goods to stock the Farm Deli shelves with – from Sausage Rolls to Quiches to Apple Pies! After that I prepare everything we will need for the following day then clean down the kitchen ready to start over on the morning.
Favourite season on the farm and why?
My favourite season is definitely autumn! I love the colours of the fallen leaves and going for an autumn walk with a coffee in hand.
If you could order anything from the Farm Café, what would be your perfect meal or go-to treat?
Id have to choose the Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Toastie!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would have to choose the ability to fly – I would be able to see so many places!
What are your hobbies and interests?
You can typically find me stuck in a book, baking at home, on a walk or watching Formula one with my dad.
